Excellent service received from Smart Home Charge. Ordered on 21st December, and wasn't expecting anything to happen until early January given the Christmas and New Year break. How wrong I was. Charger and bits were received on the 24th December along with confirmation of the DNO approval. Installation was then scheduled for 3rd January, PM. Phone call the day before offering me the morning slot as they now had a cancellation for the AM. Engineer turned up nice and early, went through where I wanted the charger, cable going etc and got straight to work. No hassle from him, clean and tidy, and told me when the electric would be turned of and when he turned it back on. Excellent service from start to finish, and would definitely recommend to others looking fpr a home EV charger installer. Totally exceeded my expectations and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Superb from start of process to the end. Only criticism I would have is the tracking of the engineer feature on link via text was poor. We were tracking regularly and showed engineer in Stafford and then he was knocking on the door. Other than that the whole experience was excellent.

Will I need permission to install an EV charger at home?
If you are a home owner, you’ll need approval from your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) before your home EV charger installation can take place. We will do this on your behalf as part of your installation. If you rent your property, you will need approval from both your area’s DNO and your landlord before we can proceed with your installation.
Will you advise me on the best place to install my EV charger?
The best place to install your home EV charger is on a wall close to where you park so that your charging cable can reach your car’s charging port.
