The Easee One is one of the best-looking and most versatile EV chargers available today, while also managing to remain impressively small and discreet.
Dimensions - H256 x W193 x D106mm
Thanks to the Easee One's smart design and app, you no longer need to choose between tethered or untethered EV chargers - the Easee does both! Prefer a tethered charger (cable permanently attached)? No problem, simply plug the cable into the Easee One and lock the cable in via the Easee app. If you want the flexibility of an untethered unit (no cable attached), then just remove the cable and plug it in at your own leisure.
This also means the Easee One will work with any EV out of the box.
Easee One connects to the internet through its in-built WiFi connection. This enables over-the-air updates to add new features and make improvements over time. It also includes a 4G mobile connection for improved internet connectivity and reliability.
The Easee One come with a black faceplate as standard. However, the faceplate on the Easee One is easily changed and you can do this yourself.
Standard colour: black
You can purchase different colours separately for £35.00
Additional colours ordered separately: white, grey, blue, red
The Easee One is capable of charging your vehicle at up to 7kW, which will provide around 30 miles of range per hour depending on your vehicle.
You can permanently lock your cable into the Easee, removing the fear that someone might remove it.
An Easee branded cable ca be bought separately (£240) or you can buy different branded 5m and 10m cables from Smart Home Charge.
Some charge points require the installation of a copper earth rod, or alternative device, at your property for safety reasons. But this can also add complexity and extra cost to the job. The Easee One avoids the need for this thanks to its built-in PEN fault detection feature.
Easee One can be easily expanded as your EV household grows by "daisy-chaining" up to three chargers. The Easee One will share power evenly between up to three units on the same curcuit, so your EVs get their fair share of charge.
Charge your EV on your terms. Simply plug in and charge straight away or set up a schedule so your vehicle charges at specific times - for example, when your electricity prices are lower.

See the charge status of your car, monitor your energy consumption and more.
Concerned about charger security? Don't be - the Easee app lets you remotely "lock" the charger to prevent unwanted use.
If you want to set up your Easee One as a "tethered" device and keep the cable (sold separately) in place, you can lock it in place using the Easee app. Alternatively, unlock the cable to store it in your car boot or home.
The Easee app is regularly updated with improvements and new features, so your Easee product gets better and better over time.
Yes, you can download full specifications and details for the Easee right here.
No, but the Easee One has a universal socket which will work with a Type 1 cable and therefore a Type 1 electric vehicle. This is because the Easee can operate as both a tethered (cable attached) or untethered (socket only) charge point.
If you have a Type 1 vehicle, simply order a Type 1 EV charging cable and plug it into the Easee and your vehicle.
The Easee One does not come with a cable as standard. You can order a Type 2 Easee branded cable (7.5m) separately for £240. Type 1 cables are unfortunately not available.
Or you can order EV charging cables from Smart Home Charge which you can still use with your Easee unit. You can order Type 2 EV charging cables directly from the Smart Home Charge store, including a longer 10-metre cable.
No. The Easee One is capable of charging at 32 Amps for a 7kW charging rate.
Yes. It has IP54 certification, plus 11 sensors and intelligent temperature measurement to keep you and your home safe. It is also designed and built in Norway, so the Easee should be able to cope with the good-old British weather.
Yes.The Easee One come delivered with a black faceplate as standard, but you can order different colours separately. Plus, the faceplate is easily changed so you won't need an electrician to do this.
Available colours include white, black, grey, red and blue. These can be purchased separately for £35.00
There is a three-year warranty on the Easee One supplied by Easee. Any issues under warranty should be dealt with by Easee direct.
What an excellent service. The technician was very competent and explained everything he was doing and kept things clean and tidy. I'd highly recommend this service to anyone. Terry - Warrington
They guide you through the whole process from choosing a charger, a really smart app to determine the installation cost which they stick to and then a really neat and tidy installation. John - Winchester
Many customers will not need any upgrades to their electricity supply before having an EV charger installed. All installers are however required to notify the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) of any EV charger installations, who will advise you and us if an upgrade to your property’s main fuse is necessary. This depends on your property’s “maximum demand” estimate, (which is submitted by our in-house technicians to your DNO as part of our process), the size of the main fuse or if your property is on a looped supply (connected to your neighbour). Any potential works will be handled by your DNO and they will contact you directly if this is the case.
If you have an EV or plug-in hybrid, or have one on order, then you are ready to get a charger installation quote. Simply choose the electric car charger you like the look of and select "Request a Quote" at the top of this page. Don't worry if you're not 100% sure on the charger - there will be time to swap this before payment if your change your mind.
Every installation is unique, which is why we ask you to complete our remote Online Site Survey. We need to properly assess the work involved in order to give you an accurate and honest quote. Our website prices are meant to be a guide and show the minimum cost for an installation of each particular charger. So, that means the quote we email to you may be different to the price on the website.
Typically this is 3-4 weeks after payment if you are claiming the Government OZEV Grant and a little quicker if you aren't. The main factors that affect your installation date are your remote site survey completion time, OZEV Grant application, and whether your DNO needs to complete any upgrades to your electricity supply before we install your charger. We keep you updated at each stage of the process, but you can help keep things moving by completing your remote site survey quickly and providing your OZEV Grant application evidence when we ask for it.
You can still get an installation from us even if you can’t find your vehicle on our website. Simply “Request a Quote” for the charger you like and tell us which vehicle you have in the quote form. Our vehicle listings are updated regularly but are not meant to be a definitive guide – there are simply too many new EVs and plug-in hybrids being launched for us to keep up!
Smart Home Charge is a nationwide installer, covering England, Scotland and Wales. We have experienced engineers covering all major cities and regions. We have limited capacity in some remote areas, but we will always advise you of availability and any expected lead time before you start your survey.
Yes. Our engineers will complete the initial setup and pairing of the charger app with the charge point itself as this is considered as part of the installation. However, the engineers are not required to demonstrate how the app works or set up any schedules for you. We have a number of setup guides, reviews, and troubleshooting articles on our website that may help or you can contact the manufacturer directly.
As OZEV-approved installers, we are able to help you apply for the £350 Grant supplied by the Government towards to the cost of your EV charge point installation. Our team will assess your eligibility for the grant and work with you to supply the right evidence to the Government in order to claim the grant. Your installation will not be booked until we have all the required documentation to submit your claim to the Government. However, as an installer Smart Home Charge does not approve or reject your claim and a successful charger installation does not mean your claim was approved. It can take up to three months post installation for confirmation of approval or rejection of your claim from the Government. To learn more, read our guide to the OZEV Grant and eligibility.
