Customer Stories

I was nervous about paying so much to a website without speaking to a person first, but actually everything went smoothly. Taking the survey pics was easy, the office got back to me in a couple of days to resolve queries around shrubbery, the DNO arrived on time as scheduled as did the engineer. All worked first time on the installation despite the age of the electrics in the house. Worked great for me! I recommend this item and supplier.

Excellent service all round. Engineer just cracked on with work and afterwards explained fully how to use charger and app.
Martin - January 2025
Easy and did everything I asked, many thanks!

The charger doesn't work as intended. When in scheduled mode, it happens to charge beyond schedule during the day tariff. When it happens, the charging can't be stopped via app. The cable has to be physically removed to stop the charging. The basic smart plug for 10 quid does the job far better ! Seamless switching from scheduled charge to charge at will is impossible. It takes several attempts and requires RFID card to enforce the charging despite disabled authorisation. App UI is very poor and the features like scheduled charging don't work as intended. The charger itself is ok, but it's impossible to switch off LED ring which is a completely unnecessary feature. It's fine to get LED on to signal charging mode or error, but it's not required to be on all the time. The support doesn't exist at all. I really regret the purchase. I should've paid 100 quid more and bought a proper charger that works as intended and integrates with Energy Suppliers like Octopus.
