Volkswagen Tiquan eHybrid Home Charging Guide

The Volkswagen Tiquan has been a popular SUV choice since it first hit the UK roads in 2007. Nowadays, as VW gets closer to its goal of becoming carbon neutreal by 2050, the Tiquan now has a plug-in hybrid option. Sharing the same powertrain as the Golf GTE and Passat GTE, the Tiguan eHybrid utilises a 13kWh battery which keeps it traveling with zero tail-pipe emissions for around 31 miles. Once the battery depletes, there's a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine under the bonnet to keep the Tiquan eHybrid going on its journey.

Charging the Volkswagen Tiquan PHEV from zero to full using a 7.4kW charger takes around three and a half hours.
