You have to hand it to PayPal founder Elon Musk, who’s taught the rest of the car industry a few advanced EV technology lessons. Not content with stunning the world with a luxury electric saloon that had a range of more than 250 miles, Tesla released the head-turning Model X SUV. It's a spectacular vehicle, with a bold look and range of party tricks to boot. The Model X Long Range has a range of 315 miles, while its faster Performance brother reaches 300 miles - although with blistering acceleration to 60mph in as little as 2.7 seconds (yes, 2.7!) you can forgive it for losing 50 miles in range or so.
At the same time, it offers what Tesla claims to be the most storage room of any vehicle in its class. Up to 7 adults can be accommodated (with the 7-seat option) and for flexibility the second and third seat rows can be folded completely flat, creating a large amount of cargo space. Not only does the Model X offer a huge amount of storage, but its double-hinged gullwing doors are extremely useful and versatile - they're sure to get you noticed too.
To make sure you keep Model X's superb battery range topped up, check out the Tesla compatible chargers below.
