Perhaps the most well-known of all the Tesla Model S monikers, the P100D may as well be electric car slang for a trip to the osteopath such is the power delivered by the dual electric motors. The 2016 edition of the Tesla Model S P100D will whisk you from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds. It might now fall just shy of the 2.5 seconds produced by the 2020 Tesla Model S Performance, but it is still ludicrously fast. Plus, a real-world range of over 300 miles is equally impressive.
Charging the Tesla Model S P100D will take about 15 hours and 15 minutes when using a 7.4kW home charge point due to the huge 100kWh battery pack. If you have a three-phase supply at home then the Tesla can charge at 17kW AC at home. The rapid charging function means you can get an 80% charge in as little as 42 minutes using a Tesla Supercharger.
