This is the original-looking and really compact Smart EQ fortwo with, as the name suggests, two seats. There are two versions, a Coupe and a Cabrio. Both come with the same 80bhp electric motor and 17.6kwh (16.7 kW usable) battery as on the larger Forfour, though with reduced weight performance is slightly better.0-62mph comes up in 11.5 seconds. Similarly, the Fortwo EQ has a theoretical range fully charged of 99 miles, but if you do a lot of faster, out-of-town driving, in practice you’ll get rather less than this. One bonus is that the electric of Smart’s 2-seater handles better then its petrol sister, due to the under-seat mounted battery lowering the centre of gravity.
