Peugeot has been on a roll following the launch of the e-208 and it continues to have some of the best-looking cars in its class on the market.
Even if you’re not keen on small SUVs, the e-2008 is a looker. It retains some of the standout stylish touches from its smaller hatchback brother, such as the “claw” front headlights, but obviously in a larger family-sized package.
Peugeots of recent years have some of the best interiors around and the e-2008 is no exception. High-quality materials abound and the infotainment system hasn’t given way entirely to screen technology thanks to some piano-key shortcut buttons which provide a more tactile feel compared to some of the competition which has opted for big touchscreens only.
The e-2008 is also practical, coming with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and with plenty of space in the back and boot. The all-electric range is not class-leading at 193 miles but is perfectly useable for everyday driving and weekend usage.
Charging at home
You can find full details of how long it takes to charge this vehicle from empty to full using a 7.4kW home charge point at the bottom of this page.
However, it's important to note that most electric car charging is done overnight when you're asleep (so you wake up to a charged vehicle) and it's very unlikely you will ever need to charge the battery from completely empty to completely full. So, in reality, most drivers will only need to "top up" their car's battery overnight - for example, from 50% to 80%.
We tested how often the average driver would need to charge each week using the Jaguar GO I-PACE app. See how we got on in this video.
