The all-electric Mk1 NIssan Leaf has amazingly been around since 2011. In 2015, Nissan released the 30kWh Leaf - the bigger battery giving it an improved NEDC range of up to 155 miles and makes longer trips, such as family holidays, that much easier.
The Mk1 time for the 30 kWh Nissan Leaf is around five hours from empty to full when using a 7.4kW home charge point (like those below), although this requires the 6.6kW on-board charger upgrade. Rapid charging can be completed in 28 minutes when using the CHAdeMO rapid charger connection at a public charging station.
