MG5 EV Home Charging Guide

When the MG5 EV launched in November 2020 we were all leaping for joy because we finally had an electric estate car on the market. Boasting a nice 214 miles of range from its 52.2kWh battery, the MG5 EV has all the practicality you'd expect  with 464 litres of boot space which increases to 1456 litres once you remove the load cover and fold down the rear seats.

Charging the MG5 EV is a breeze too due to having both Type 2 and CCS charging connections. Using a 7.5kW home charge point, you can expect the MG5 EV to reach a full battery from empty in about eight hours and forty minutes. If you can access a public rapid charger, then expect to see an 80% charge in around 36 minutes.
