Mercedes EQC Home Charging Guide

Mercedes’ very first all-electric vehicle might not be a leftfield attempt – it looks like a “normal” SUV – but the EQC 400 4MATIC is an extremely assured effort. Competing directly with the Tesla Model X and Audi e-tron Quattro, the EQC more than holds its own with a WLTP range of 259 miles – unerringly impressive given the size and weight of the vehicle. The weight doesn’t hold the EQC back though, which shifts from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.

The Type 2 connection means easy charging at home and in under 13 hours empty to full when using a 7.4kW wallbox like those below. Access a CCS public rapid charger and you'll get an 80% recharge in 35 minutes.
