Mercedes eCitan Home Charging Guide

Having a load capacity of 2.9 cubic metres, the Mercedes eCitan might seem tiny in comparison to its bigger siblings the eVito and eSprinter. But big things come in small packages and with the eCitan this is certainly the case. Thanks to its reasonably sized 44kWh battery pack, the eCitan can travel up to 177 miles when empty making it the perfect small van for weaving around narrow city streets.

Charging the Mercedes eCitan from zero to full using a home 7.4kW charger takes about six hours. Mercedes will also fit the eCitan with a 22kW as an optional extra. At a rapid charge point, the Mercedes eCitan will accept up to 75kW meaning that a 10-80% charge can be achieved in around 40 minutes.
