The London TX Electric Taxi has quickly become a common and beloved sight on the streets of our capital. Now the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) is bringing the successful formula to the light commercial van sector. Just like its black cab brothers and sisters, the LEVC electric van is battery electric vehicle with a petrol range extender. The vehicle is driven by electric motors and is capable of about 80 miles zero-emission pure electric driving.
Charging the LEVC VN5 van will take about four hours when using a 7.4kW home charge point. You can also use a 50kW public rapid charger to get an 80% charge in 30 minutes.
