Kia Niro PHEV Home Charging Guide

Kia offers a choice of powertrains for its Niro range, including the extremely popular fully electric e-Niro. But some drivers will prefer the added flexibility and peace of mind from this plug-in hybrid version, which offers up to 30 miles of pure electric range (WLTP).

Charging the Kia Niro plug-in hybrid won't take long thanks to the small 7.1kWh battery pack. Charging from empty to full will take around two hours and 45 minutes when using a standard 7.4kW home wallbox like those below.
