The Hyundai IONIQ has been one of the popular cars of the past few years, offering drivers a range of powertrains including fully electric, plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV), and a hybrid. Now the entire range has had a facelift, along with a boost to the range of the all-electric IONIQ. The new, bigger 40.4kWh battery means the all-electric IONIQ has a WLTP range of 193 miles – at least 60 miles more than its predecessor.

Charging the 2019 40.4kWh Hyundai IONIQ Electric will take about six hours using a 7.4kW home charge point. Rapid charging from 10-80% will take around 47 minutes.
