Cupra Born 62kWh (150kW) Home Charging Guide

Cupra is well known for making performance variants of Seat's vehicles. However, it has been forging its own path with Cupra-branded vehicles including the fully electric Cupra Born. While this model shares the same 62kWh battery as the 170kW electric motor version, it is equipped with a less powerful 150kW motor. That means range increases to 265 miles on a single charge while the 0-62mph time slows slightly to 7.3 seconds.
Charging the Cupra Born will take about nine hours when using a 7.4kW home charge point, although it can charge three hours faster at 11kW AC if you have access to a three-phase charge point and supply at home. The Cupra Born also has 100kW CCS rapid charging support, so if you connect to a public rapid charger you can expect an 80% charge in as little as 33 minutes.
