BMW i4 Home Charging Guide
BMW has been quietly electrifying its range of cars, with plug-in hybrids available such as the 330e, and fully electric cars such as the i3 blazing a trail in the market. Now, the German carmaker is setting its sights on its core market - the executive saloon.
When it launches, the BMW i4 is expected to have a range of around 275 miles thanks to the 80kWh battery. If this remains the case at launch, the BMW i4 will take about 11 hours to charge from empty to full using a 7.4kW home charge point. The BMW also includes CCS rapid charging and is expected to take about 30 minutes to charge on a 120kW rapid charger.
