BMW i3 21.6kWh (2013) Home Charging Guide

BMW’s well-designed i3 was a pioneer in the purpose-built all electric cars sector, yet its sleek design remains current and attractive. Its superb range between top-up charges and truly sparkling performance make it an extremely attractive all-rounder, for both town-car and open-road use.

The original 60Ah (or 21.6kWh battery) had an NEDC range of 118 but its real-world range was closer to 80 miles. Charging times for the original BMW i3 were quick thanks to its small battery, taking just three hours to charge from empty to full.
