Peugeot e-Boxer gets an upgrade
Peugeot had upgraded its e-Boxer models by making a larger 75kWh battery available, alongside range improvements and price reductions on some models.
The new 75kWh battery is available across all e-Boxer variants and adds 15 miles of electric range, leading to a 154-mile range without the loading volume being impeded. The electric motor is rated at 122bhp, while the torque is 350Nm.
Due to the economies made in the manufacturing process, Peugeot has dropped the price of the four-tonne versions of the 75kWh e-Boxer by £8770.
The e-Boxer 440 Electric 75kWh auto Professional now starts from £66,535 (before the UK Government’s Plug-in van and truck grant). Savings can also be made on the Window van variant of the e-Boxer. Thanks to the Plug-in van and truck grant, you can save £5000 across all versions of the car.
Using a 50kW rapid charger, the e-Boxer can go from 0-80% in one hour. The range begins with the e-Boxer 435 Electric 37kWh auto Professional at £56,285 or £51,285 before PIVG.
the government has set out a range of grants to help encourage people to make the switch to an EV. Find out which grants are available and if you can claim them using our grant directory.
