GeniePoint offers free charging to key workers
17th Apr 2020 Danny Morgan
GeniePoint, the nationwide operator of electric car charging points, is offering free access to its charging network for key workers.
From April 16th, the GeniePoint Network will be free to use for key workers in the following sectors:
- Health and Social Care
- Education and Childcare
- Key public services
- Local and national Government
- Food and other necessary goods distribution
- Public safety and national security
- Utilities, communication and financial services
The free charging offer also applies to drivers using the Revive network in the south west and the Dragon Charging Network in Wales.
To register an account for free charging, simply email email@example.com with details of your GeniePoint account, including registered name, email address and key worker role.
The changes may take 24 hours to apply and GeniePoint ask that customers applying for the free account do not call the customer services number as this is reserved for drivers needing assistance at the charge points themselves.
