Enyaq is the name of Skoda’s first all-electric SUV

The Skoda Enyaq will be the company’s second fully electric vehicle after the Citigo iV.
Derived from the Irish name “Enya” which means “source of life”, Enyaq includes the “Q” that is synonymous with its SUV range such as the Kamiq, Karoq and Kodiaq.
The new Skoda EV will be its first fully electric SUV and the first Skoda model to be based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform which will also form the basis of the new VW ID.3.
New models will follow the naming convention established by the Enyaq, with electric vehicles taking names that begin with “E”.
Skoda plans to launch more than 10 electric vehicles under the iV sub-brand by the end of 2022.
Skoda is also predicting that more than 25 per cent of its sales by 2025 could be fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles.
